Transportation to Boston's CruisePort

Silver Line Bus in Boston
I want to come by bus from Maine to the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal/Cruiseport Boston. How do I get there? Are there buses to the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal/Cruiseport Boston? I would leave from Wiscasset, Maine or other point in Maine. Thanks for your help!
Susan's reply: I believe that all bus lines from Maine arrive at Boston's South Station. Just pick the bus company with a schedule and pick-up points that works best for the location where you want to get on the bus in Maine.
Getting to the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal (CruisePort) from South Station means one more short bus trip, but it's really easy. All you have to do is get on the Silver Line (SL) Number 2 bus at South Station, and it will take you right to the Cruise Terminal in the South Boston Waterfront neighborhood - about a 10 minute ride.
The Silver Line is actually considered part of Boston's subway system because it goes underground at a couple of points, but when you see it, it's obviously a bus, not a subway.
In any case, when your bus from Maine arrives at South Station, just look for the signs for the Silver Line inside, and if for some reason you don't see them, you can ask at the information counter. Again, be sure to take the SL2 as that's the only one that goes to CruisePort. The bus will let you out a short distance from the terminal.
Fare each way is $2, and you can get a ticket from the machines (easy to spot) in South Station.
