March 2 - Waltham's Annual Food and Wine Festival - An Epicurean Delight!
The 18th Annual Waltham Food and Wine Festival will take place at the Westin Waltham Boston Hotel on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. The festival benefits the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation.
New for 2010, the Festival will be held in the Eden Vale Ballroom of the luxurious Westin Waltham Boston Hotel, conveniently located just off I-95/128 on Third Avenue in Waltham. The new location provides the festival with easy highway access, convenient parking, and room for more restaurants, more activities, and more attendees.
More than 300 attendees from Waltham, Boston, and MetroWest communities will enjoy an elegant evening of food, wine, music, and surprises. Each guest enjoys champagne and samples the fare of some of Waltham’s most popular restaurants. A bounty of fine wines, served by sommeliers from Gordon’s Liquors, complements the cuisine.
In addition, Waltham area cultural attractions such as the Waltham Philharmonic Orchestra will provide entertainment throughout the evening, along with cooking demonstrations from Waltham’s own celebrity chefs. The festival will also showcase innovations past and present such as the James Bond DBS Aston Martin, and more.
Guests have the chance to win valuable gifts such as weekend getaways, dining experiences, spa treatments, gym memberships, children’s events, birthday celebrations, and more at the silent auction. This year’s silent auction highlights include a Cape Cod Getaway, an evening with the Red Sox, a cruise on the Charles River followed by dinner in Boston, and more.
