Ahoy mates! It’s time to “sea” and explore Boston with the Boston Center for Adult Education’s (BCAE) summer sailing classes. Set sail and enjoy Boston, and all of its beauty, from the water.
Learn to Sail
The “Learn to Sail” course covers all the basics. You will learn how to rig and de-rig the boat, leave and return to the dock, and get the boat to go where you want, upwind and down. This course is great for those who have never sailed before and want to try it out, as well as for those looking to review the fundamentals of sailing. When you are done, the instructors will leave you with a personalized plan for improvement to help guide you as you practice your new skills!
This four session class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 6, 2010 through July 15, 2010 from 5pm-8pm. Tuition is $275.00. Instructor: Courageous Sailing Center, in Charlestown.
