Boston Center for Adult Ed in Boston's Bay Village
Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) presents a Sales Boot Camp for Authors on March 11 at BCAE's new headquarters in Boston's picturesque Bay Village.
Let’s face it, by March most of us have already given up on our New Year’s resolutions. Like us, you’re probably back to eating carbs, haven’t hit the gym since… ohhh January sometime, and still haven’t made that daring career move. It’s time to snap out of it and step it up because BCAE is blowing the whistle!
On Thursday, March 11, 2010, BCAE is giving you a chance to redeem yourself and get into tip-top shape this spring at their “Sales Boot Camp for Authors” workshop.
If you’ve ever thought about turning your journal into a best-selling epic novel, this class is for you!
Author and self-publisher Janet Spurr will share ten essential tips to marketing a book, and yourself as an author! Not a sales person? Janet will discuss step by step, different sales techniques, phone tips, marketing ideas and follow-ups.
Janet Spurr has run a small sales company for over 25 years and published her first book, Beach Chair Diaries, Summer Tales from Maine to Maui, in May of 2008. Since her debut Janet has sold over 2,700 copies of her book, and spoken at more than 30 engagements including the Publisher’s University and the National Writers Union. By the end of this single session class, you’ll be comfortable in your own words!
The cost of the boot camp is $40 for non-members and $30 for members. This class will sell out fast and space is limited so sign up soon by signing up online at www.bcae.org or call 617-267-4430.
