Restaurant Week Boston 2010 gives us the chance to sample Boston's best restaurants at special affordable prices!  Interested?  Mark March and August on your calendar, and start planning your restaurant reservations.

During Boston Restaurant Week in 2010, chefs offer prix fixe 3-course lunches for $20.10 and dinners for $33.10. 

Some also offer a "light lunch" option for $15.10 - a main course with either the starter or dessert from the 3-course prix fixe menu.

Dates for Boston Restaurant Week for Summer, 2010:

  • Sunday, August 15 through Friday, August 20
  • Sunday, August 22 through Friday, August 27

Many restaurants also offer the special menus on Saturday, August 21, and a few make their special menus - and prices - available throughout the month of August.

Although drinks, tax, and tip are additional and a few selections even require supplemental charges, Restaurant Week in Boston still serves up a sweet deal.  Some participating restaurants also offer wine pairings, usually for about $15 more.

You definitely need to have reservations during Restaurant Week in Boston because bargain-hunting gourmands turn out for this event in huge numbers.  You can find menus and make restaurant reservations on-line through OpenTable, a free website shows you what time slots are available and allows you to easily make, change, or cancel reservations.  Or, you can call the restaurants directly.

Over 200 restaurants in Boston, Cambridge, and nearby suburbs are expected to participate in Restaurant Week.
