How many Boston hotels have their own theater?

Radisson Hotel Boston, conveniently located in Bay Village on the edge of Boston's lively downtown Theatre District, is the only Boston hotel with an in-house theater.

The popular Stuart Street Playhouse, located in the Radisson Hotel Boston, started life as a movie theater, but was converted to a live theater in 1996 to take advantage of its Theatre District location. In 2009, it changed back to an art film house, and hosts the annual Boston Film Festival.

But the on-site theater is not the only "plus" about the Radisson. It also features a nice indoor pool, and somewhat rooms than you'll find at many downtown Boston hotels, due to being newer.

Although the hotel is on busy Stuart Street, some rooms on upper floors offer spectacular city views.

Plus, the hotel's location is excellent. You're a block away from Boston Common. Other Boston theaters and many of Boston's comedy clubs are nearby. Bay Village, one of Boston's most picturesque and least-known neighborhoods, is on your doorstep to explore. And Back Bay is just a couple of blocks away.

You're also within an easy walk of other Boston attractions . . . the Freedom Trail, Beacon Hill, Chinatown, the Waterfront, and the Public Garden's famed Swan Boats. You're also close to a T (subway) stop if you want to go farther afield, like to Fenway Park.
