Lots of shopping options on Boston's North Shore

Already large, Northshore Mall recently became larger after completing the second phase of an ambitious expansion. Shopping in the Boston area gets better and better!

With the third and final phase of the expansion completing in April of 2009, Northshore will include a new Nordstrom along with 120+ other large stores and specialty boutiques ranging from affordable to upscale.

Here's What You'll Find

Anchors galore! Now that Nordstrom is added to the mix, Northshore Mall has 5, count them, 5 anchor stores: Macy's, JC Penney, Filene's Basement, Sears, and of course, Nordstrom. Together, they'll give you a wide range of price and fashion options all under one roof at this expansive Boston area shopping mall.

Smaller stores also offer a nice mix from every-day to luxe.

For wearables, you'll find both Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft, Talbots, J.Jill, H&M, Sephora, J.Crew, Brooks Brothers, Banana Republic, Zara, Express, Aeropostale, Chico's, Express, Gap, White House Black House, Forever 21, Hollister, and more.

For shoes, everything from Stride Rite for kids to atheletic gear to the comfortable options from The Walking Company.

Home furnishings - also a nice mix at this North Shore shopping mall: Restoration Hardware, Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Village Silversmith, and Brookstone, plus others. Electronics lovers will love the Apple Computer store and GameStop.

And for a special reward for the deserving shopper, Godiva.

Lots of Restaurants

As a true suburban mall - meaning you can't walk from the mall to a ton of nearby restaurants - Northshore makes sure you have plenty of food options right at hand under the roof of the mall.

You'll find a large food court at this popular Peabody shopping mall with a good array of choices plus six full-scale restaurants. These include Boston's perennial pizza favorite Bertucci's, Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse, Joe's American Bar & Grill, Legal Sea Foods, P.F. Chang's China Bistro, and The Cheesecake Factory.

And now that Nordstrom is here, check out their Cafe Bistro and eBar.

As you can probably guess, the restaurant choices are so good here that they become the destination for many folks.
