February 23 - ICycle, a unique and dynamic fundraiser and awareness-raiser, is a stationary bike-a-thon held outdoors at Dewey Square (across from South Station) in Boston on Tuesday, February 23rd to benefit HomeStart. HomeStart is a Greater Boston-based nonprofit agency helping to end homelessness for hundreds of people every year.

Since 2007, ICycle has raised nearly $150,000 with over 100 enthusiastic "spinners" participating each year. An estimated 1,500 additional people come by to watch and cheer on our riders during the day. Both the riders and spectators quickly realized that an hour in the cold doesn't compare to not having a home.

Music, refreshments, and the riders' energy will again make for a fun and celebratory atmosphere. Stationary bikes will be provided by Boston Sports Club. BSC Spin Instructors will conduct several "Spin" classes throughout the day.

To participate in ICycle 4, please visit www.regonline.com/icycle_iv_2010. It's fast and easy. Teams of riders may take turns on a bike and share an hour. You or your team must raise a minimum of $250 to participate in your hour ride.

Directions to Dewey Square: Red Line/South Station - walk across the street to the Rose Kennedy Greenway/Dewey Square.
