(Boston)
Enjoy the best Greek food and pastries the city has to offer, while visiting one of Boston's oldest Greek churches and cultural centers on June 26 and 27, 2010. The Greek Food Festival at Saint John the Baptist church is truly a taste of Greece in our own back yard. Everyone is welcome.
You can expect to enjoy Greek specialties such as
baklava (honey and nut pastry), loukanico (Greek sausage), spanakopita (spinach pastry), tzatziki, dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), gyro (lamb and beef wrap), and much more.
If you live in Boston, you probably already know how much fun the Greek food festivals are - and how delicious the food is. If you're visiting Boston on the weekend of June 26-27, this Festival is the perfect excuse to visit the South End. You'll find great food at very reasonable prices - plus you'll get to enjoy the gorgeous architecture, gardens, art galleries, and shops in the neighborhood.
Saint John the Baptist is located in Union Park in Boston's South End neighborhood. It's an easy walk from the Green Line/Arlington or Orange Line/Back Bay T stations, or you can take the Silver Line right to the church.
