Boston Red Sox HatsEssential Gear for Red Sox FansVisit Fenway Park and you'll see so many fans wearing Boston Red Sox hats and caps that you'll think they're part of a dress code. Actually, that's kind of true. Most folks here own at least one, and we tend to wear them a lot. If you want to get into the spirit of Boston, you'll want a Red Sox hat for yourself. They're also handy for shading your face from the sun, which can be hotter here than you might expect. And in winter, the hats will keep your ears warm. I've assembled a collection of styles - everything from the classic baseball cap to Red Sox Santa hats. You'll want more than one, so that your head will always be properly attired for every occasion.

These caps are similar to the ones above - but with a few twists. The blue and white hat is for "freshmen" - wear it and people may think you're a new team member! If you get the green cap, be sure to check out the matching St. Patrick's Day Red Sox shirt. The cap on the right is a local favorite because of the red socks, just like the ones on the side of Fenway Park.
Red Sox headwear is worn year-around - but once the temperature drops below freezing and the wind chill factor dips into Arctic terriitory, warm hats replace caps.
The cuffed beanie is one of the most popular styles, although you also see lots of the Argyle style hat with earflaps and tassles. The most popular Boston Red Sox hat of all, though, is the Santa hat.
