Boston August Historic Tours: Bells and Bones Tour

Discover the unique story behind one of Boston's oldest churches. The Bells & Bones tour brings guests up-close and personal with over 300 years of history! We are now offering ticketless reservation sales for our most popular tour times!

Explore King's Chapel's Crypt and climb the tower to see the wold's largest Paul Revere Bell on this exclusive behind the scenes tour! This is the ONLY tour in Boston where you can see both the INSIDE of a 200-year-old crypt vault AND the largest and last bell Paul Revere ever made (weighing in at 2,437 pounds)!

Tours offered on the hour (11am, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm) daily, with the exception of Sundays, when tours begin at 2pm. Tours typically last about 45 minutes. Tickets cost $10 for adults, with discounts available for students, seniors, children, and military.

The tour is strongly recommended for ages 10 or older. Participants must be physically able to climb steep stairs and negotiate obstructions both overhead and underfoot. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visitors must sign a waiver before taking part in the tour (https://waiver.fr/p-wiYrM). Bell tower portion of the tour is weather dependent.

The festival will offer workshops and lectures by leading fermentation specialists including local chefs, at-home fermenters, clinicians & researchers studying the positive health affects of live fermented foods, microbiologists, cheesemongers, and distillers. Local Artist Nyx Breen Launches Art Exhibit at Onyx Hotel

See Boston Through the Eyes of Local Artist Nyx Breen
Whose new art exhibition at the Onyx shows the city through a new vantage point

Located in Boston’s bustling West End, Kimpton’s Onyx Hotel is pleased to announce the installation of a new art exhibit featuring the work of local artist Nyx Breen.

Starting today through mid-October, the hotel’s public spaces - lobby, Ruby Room and meeting areas - will serve as a canvas for Breen's photographic and virtual art inspired by the city’s rich history and architecture. A native of Boston, Breen delights in, “providing others the ability to find shared emotions, memories and partnership in the experience of my art.” His imaginative eye captures the world around him with precision and finesse.

Breen has specifically curated a collection of pieces for the Onyx Hotel exhibit that will enhance travelers’ experience of the city and allow locals to envision their surroundings through a new lens.
