Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 30, 2010 from 3:30PM – 5:00PM as the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro, located at 25 Charles Street in Boston’s fashionable Beacon Hill, hosts “Sparkle III,” an event billed as “an afternoon of Fashion, Food & Fun.” The event will bring together fashionistas from around Greater Boston and beyond to sip cocktails, enjoy light fare and finger foods prepared by Beacon Hill Bistro's Executive Chef Jason Bond, and view the latest fashions with an afternoon charity fashion show to benefit Rosie’s Place, a Boston sanctuary for poor and homeless women.

Editors, Producers and On-Air Talent from some of Boston’s biggest and hippest media outlets will model the latest summer fashions. The star-studded roster of those graciously donating their time to this year’s event includes Bianca de la Garza, Co-Anchor of WCVB-TV Channel 5 EyeOpener Newscast, Lisa Pierpont, Editor of Boldfacer’s and writer for Fashion Boston, Leighann Farrelly, Editor of Boston Yelp!, Erica Corsano, Editor of STUFF Magazine, Jenny Johnson, Co-star and Executive Producer of NECN’s TV Diner, Megan Lisagor, Editor of The Improper Bostonian, Sue Brady, On-Air Talent for Mix 104.1 FM, and Julia Rappaport, Assistant Arts and Lifestyle Editor for the Boston Herald. This year’s special guest host will be Jay Calderin, Founder and Executive Director of Boston Fashion Week!

These lovely ladies will be glammed up head-to-toe in outfits, shoes, accessories, and beauty products galore from Beacon Hill designers and boutiques such as Wish, Good Inc., Moxie, Beauty Mark, Crush Boutique, Pixie Stix, Koo de Kir, Cibeline, Holiday, Uncle Pete’s, J McLaughlin, The Ruby Door, Core de Vie, Second Time Around and many more!

The all-inclusive $25 admission price not only covers a front row seat to the afternoon fashion show arranged around communal seating to encourage gab and gossip, but also includes gourmet hors d'oeuvres created by Chef Bond, one glass of champagne provided by Nicolas Feuillatte (full cash bar also available), an exclusive “Sparkle III” discount giving attendees

15% off at all participating vendors (shoppers, do the math - spend more than $170, and not only will the money you save with this discount cover the cost of your ticket, but you'll also get additional savings, depending on how much more you spend!), a complimentary gift bag filled with goodies galore, entry into several afternoon raffles, and the opportunity to bid on the Rosie’s Place silent auction including items such as trips, dinners and much more! A percent of proceeds from the event and 100% of proceeds from the silent auction will go directly to Rosie’s Place.

“This is the third year we’ve been touched by the outpouring of kindness and support from the Boston media, the boutiques and designers, the attendees… and our host, the Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro,” said Ben Weisman, Development Officer, Individual Giving for Rosie’s Place.
